HOW TO CLEAN YOUR FOUNDATION BRUSH LIKE A PRO

THE LIP BAR. |

We’re all about skin first here at The Lip Bar, which is why our Fast Face Foundation Serum is packed with hella great ingredients for the skin like Hyaluronic Acid and Irish Sea Moss Extract. We want our babes to have great skin with or without makeup, so we highly recommend caring for the foundation brush often. Dermatologists and skincare experts, suggest cleaning your foundation brushes at least once a week to stay clear of any unwanted breakouts. However, it’s up to you to decide based on what typically works for you!

The Fast Face Foundation serum brush can be easily cleaned with the brush on or off. And cleaning the brush head while still attached to the foundation will not harm the quality of the product. Check out these two quick and easy ways to clean your fast face foundation brush.

Cleaning with brush head off:

Step 1: Twist the top of foundation off from the bottom.

Step 2: Pop the brush off the foundation bottle

Step 3: Grab your favorite soap or makeup remover.

Step 4: Rinse the brush with warm water, and place a drop of cleanser or soap into the palm of your hands.

Step 5: Clean brush with soap and warm water and gently massage the bristles.

Step 6: Let brush sit on a clean towel until dry.

Step 7: After brush is completely dry, push the brush back onto the bottle, and twist until tight.

Cleaning with brush head on:

Step 3: Take the foundation brush and rub it onto the towel in a circular motion alternating between the towel’s wet and dry areas.

Step 4: Repeat step 3 until brush is clean

Step 5: Let the foundation bottle sit on a clean towel until brush is fully dry.
