In 2021, the world is changing and so are we. In this new year, we are showing up with a brand new look.
When we first launched The Lip Bar almost 9 years ago, our CEO, Melissa Butler, started by making lipstick in her kitchen. Our old logo was an ode to our signature lipsticks that work for women of all complexions. A lot of things have changed around here since then-- 9 years later, we have evolved into so much more.
Today, we are making makeup easy through complexion-based makeup recommendations and products that are simple to use for every skill level. Many of you, have been following our journey since the beginning, and have witnessed our insane growth just within the last couple years.
Yes we are lip. But now we are so much more. We are face and lip, and everything in between. Whether you’re a busy mom or a business mogul or both, we want your makeup to work for you. And we want our logo to be reflective of the bold statement we’re making in the beauty space.

What does this mean?
We have a new look, but all products are still easy to use, easy to shop, and easy to love. TLB is and will always be vegan, cruelty-free and here for women of all complexions. Our new logo just allows us to show up in a way that captures everything we’ve become.
Will the logo be on every new product I order?
Great question! You’ll see a mix of the new and old logo on products as we transition. Some new products like our Quick Conceal Caffeine Concealer, already feature our new logo.
When will I start to see the new logo?
We have slowly transitioned all our platforms over to the new logo. You’ll start to see the new logo on our website, flyers, texts, email, and social platforms.

I liked the old look. It was a signature look! It was classy, beautiful, unique, refreshing and bold! This new look is plain, easy to overlook and in my opinion does not do your wonderful, quality products justice. But good luck with it. I hope the beautiful cases of the products do not change.
I stumbled upon the lip bar blog and saw the new logo. I loved the swag of the old logo. It’s design was unique and byouTful. Is it too late to stop the changeover? I’m a late bloomer in the face make-up game. But I hope my opinion matters even at 58.
While I loved the old look and agree the comment from Marci W. I understand the need to move forward and continue to grow. My suggestion to everyone that will have " withdrawal pains from the previous logo. HURRY, order your favorite shades in the old designs quickly! They’re definetly keepsakes. Then take time and be among the first to get the newly design flavors.
